Geoff Thompson's Bafta nominated short film 'Bouncer.' The film stars Ray Winstone and asks "What do you see when you look into the face of a nightclub doorman?"
I found the short film ‘The Bouncer’ very hard-hitting and powerful, despite the slightly humorous dialogue used. I especially enjoyed the editing techniques used, as it really stops and makes you think what life is for a bouncer. It raises various enigmas. The hidden messages and further meanings conform to the short film conventions. The whole storyline takes the audience in a full circle and slightly confuses them. Short films are good seeing as there are no rules and boundaries.
