I thought this film was most humorous, the whole narrative is just mad. Who would think of something like this as it is a man who's poo follows him around-totally nuts! however it is so typical of Michel Gondry. The beginning of the short film is quite normal an then the 'human turd' comes out from the toilet it is constantly challenges expectations the audience stay amused and interested throughout as they never know what's going to happen next. Michel Gondry often uses a lot of styles that other directors wouldn't use for example in this film the fourth wall is broken and the characters are addressing the audience and keeping them engaged. The ending is like the cherry on top as it takes another turn as the turd turns in to a Nazi, which i found quite weird however with is being a short films and conventionally short films often have a deeper meaning and maybe this one had something to do with racial discrimination as it is also mentioned earlier by the turd it is just an idea but that was my conclusion on this quirky short film.
